Registration Steps

Registration Steps

You will need to complete the following steps to register with VUFC for the 2026 Winter Season making note of the following: 


  • Age group and gender caps remain in place for the 2026 season 
  • Existing 2025 members have a preferential registration period after which time, those age groups/ genders with capacity for additional players will be opened to new members. This preferential registration period ended on 10 January. 
  • only players who have completed ALL 3 STEPS correctly will be placed in teams.  You are strongly encouraged to complete all 3 registration steps in the first instance so as to not delay team placement.

1. Complete your VUFC registration using the link on the 'What's On' page, providing all requested information. 
Payment of club fees only is made during this step and if you are using a PLAYON voucher you must upload the voucher during this step.  
The Playon voucher must be uploaded in PDF format. 
If you are awaiting the issue of a Playon voucher on 29 January, you MUST be on a payment plan.  Playon vouchers cannot be applied retrospectively if your registration is fully paid
At the end of Step 1 you will be prompted to complete Step 1. 

2. Register in PLAYFOOTBALL V2.0 via the website. 


When completing this registration ALL players are required to upload a current passport style profile picture. 
This step is complete when you have paid the Football Australia association fees in full and your payment has  cleared.

All MASTER'S players must be registered in Playfootball. There is a specific registration product for Masters - DO NOT register as a senior player

It is your responsibility to ensure your payment is successful.

3. Register in SQUADI via the app or website.  


When completing this registration ALL players are required to upload a current passport style profile picture. 
This step is complete when you have paid the Football Queensland association fees in full and your payment has cleared. 
It is your responsibility to ensure your payment is successful.

At the end of Step 2 you will be prompted to complete Step 3. 

MASTERS players are required to register in SQUADI as well however your registration product has not been released as at the time of registrations opening on 1 January.

These 3 registrations must be completed at the time of club registration.  Players who have not completed Steps 2 and 3 by 31 January 2026 will be INELIGIBLE to TRAIN or PARTICIPATE IN FIXTURES.

Please note the following: 
  • Players with outstanding debts from ANY prior season or event will have their registrations cancelled. 
  • Player profile pictures must be current passport style photo. No siblings, parents, pets, no trophies, no toys etc.  Players submitting non current / non compliant photos will have their registration declined. 
  • All players U6 and older  (Miniroos, ASP, FQA, Youth, Metro, FQPL) must complete steps 1 -3. 
  • Masters players complete all steps with an additional registration required in Footsy.  
  • An ITC will be required for ANY players aged 18 years or older whose immediate last football registration was outside Australia irrespective of when that registration was.  
  • An ITC will be required for ANY MINOR PLAYER aged 10 years or older who was born in a country other than Australia or any AUSTRALIAN BORN player aged 10 years or older who has been registered to play football with an overseas club, irrespective of whether that club is registered with a national association. 
  • The ITC process is lengthy (8-12 weeks) and can require considerable personal information - complete your registrations early and correctly.
