Virginia United Football Club' FQ Academy Youth Program is now in its fifth year. At the end of 2021, after the Football Queensland annual assessment, the program was elevated from Bronze to Silver tier. The club is fully committed to the ongoing development and evolution of our FQ Academy Youth Program.
The program is highly regarded and respected within the football community. Recently producing and assisting the movement of numerous graduates to external FQA1 boys and girls programs as well as producing high quality players for our own FQ Academy Youth Program. VUFC continues to climb the ranks of football in the QLD pyramid, recently rated as high as 15th in the state by Football Queensland, making us one of the premier places to play football on the north side of Brisbane.
The 2026 season will see Virginia United Football Club's high-performance female and male teams compete in the FQ Academy 2 Football Queensland Competitions.
Our FQ Academy Youth Program offers a direct pathway from FQ Academy Juniors (9-12 years), through to our U23 and First Grade Men's and Women's Teams. With qualified coaches for every age group and a Head of Performance to oversee all aspects of the program, players are given every chance to progress and earn a First Grade position when they graduate from the VUFC Academy.
