Playing Pathways

Virginia United Football Club loves kids in football, and our Squirts program sees over 280 children year on year join in the fun at Albert Bishop Park.  

Our Squirts Program is designed for 3 to 6 year olds. It promotes football based activity for these younger children who are not yet of age to register to play competitively. Our progam is run under the supervision of qualified coaches. They are run on a term by term basis.

These are the age categories and teams at the club in our community and metro competitions. These are administered by Football Queensland and coordinated by our Community Coach Coordinator (CCC):

Juniors - Community and Metro

Miniroos U6/7 - games are played internally on a Saturday morning.

Miniroos U8-U12 - games are played both home and away.

Metro U13 - U18 - games are played both home and away.

Metro 18+ male and female teams

We provide girls only teams in all playing age groups, with some combined age group teams; for example U11/U12 girls.

This is for the players with above average football abilities who want to commit to developing their skills. These competitions are administered by Football Queensland and our Technical staff.

Virginia United Football Club compete in the North Brisbane Over 35 and Over 45 competitions, administered by O35s and O45's Football Ltd. 

Games are played on a Friday night from March through September, with the 2024 commencement date to be confirmed.
