2027 FQA Junior & Youth Players Information and registration

Virginia United is running a process this off-season to identify players who may be ready to step into the Football Queensland Academy pathway for 2027.

This Expression of Interest is open to the public. Submitting this form does not guarantee a trial or selection: only players shortlisted by our coaching staff will be contacted, and trials are by invite only. If you are not contacted, it does not mean you have been ruled out, our staff continue to assess talent throughout the season.

This page is open to Boys and Girls, Junior and Youth, across all FQA-eligible age groups. Register your interest below before the end of the regular season.

TRIAL DATES (invite only)

Tuesday 6 October / Thursday 8 October / Tuesday 13 October / Thursday 15 October:
5:00pm-6:00pm - Boys U9, U10, U11, U12
5:00pm-6:00pm - Girls U10, U11, U12
6:15pm-7:30pm - Boys U13, U14, U15
6:15pm-7:30pm - Girls U13, U14, U15
7:30pm-8:45pm - Boys U16 & U18
7:30pm-8:45pm - Girls U16 & U18

Only shortlisted players will be contacted directly by our coaching staff ahead of these sessions with their specific trial time. To be considered for selection, players are asked to attend a minimum of 3 out of 4 of the team training sessions they are invited to. 

FQA training typically runs two nights a week plus regular carnivals and representative events, alongside your normal club team rather than instead of it. Selection reflects Football Queensland's own long-term talent identification process rather than a single decision, and every player who puts their hand up remains on our radar for future opportunities.
