VUFC End of Season Gala Day

Join us for the biggest day on the VUFC calendar. The whole club is invited to celebrate the end of the season together, with a full day of team presentations, rides, food and community fun, right here at the Club. Entry is free for everyone.

THE DAY AT A GLANCE

Gates open at 9am and the day runs through to 5pm. Presentations for every community team take place on Field 1 throughout the day. Rides, inflatables and food vendors are set up across Fields 2, 3 and 4, running the whole day from open to close, so there's plenty to do before and after your team's presentation slot.

RIDES AND RIDES PASSES

A Rides Pass costs $15 per child and gives all day access to a huge range of inflatables and attractions, fully supervised by trained staff throughout the day. Only children need a pass, adults can accompany kids on the rides at no charge. Passes can be purchased through this page ahead of the day, and will be ready for collection on the day from the Operational Desk, just bring along your booking confirmation.

FOOD AND DRINK

A great range of food vendors will be trading throughout the day, with plenty of variety on offer. No need to bring lunch, just bring your appetite.

TEAM PRESENTATIONS, FULL SCHEDULE

Presentations run on Field 1 in age group blocks across the day. Please aim to arrive around 15 minutes before your team's slot so everyone's ready to go.

10:05am, U6-7 Girls
10:30am, U7 Pods
11:20am, U8
12:35pm, U9 (after our lunch break)
1:20pm, U10
2:00pm, U11
2:25pm, U12
2:55pm, Community Youth, U13 to U18

Even if your team's slot is early or late in the day, we'd love for your family to stay and enjoy the rides, food and atmosphere. The Club will wrap up with a thank you and closing address at 3:45pm.

WHAT TO BRING

A hat and sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring cash or card for food and any extras on the day.

PARKING

On-site parking is limited, so we'd encourage families to carpool where possible. Further parking guidance will be shared closer to the day.

WET WEATHER

The Gala Day will go ahead rain or shine. If severe weather puts the day at risk, we'll post updates here and through our usual club communications.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

This is a big day and we can't run it without our volunteers. We're looking for people to help on the Operational Desk, with parking, and more. If you can spare a few hours, we'd love to have you on board, get in touch at admin@virginiaunitedfc.com.au.
