U8 - U11 Girls MiniRoos

The club has a proud history of success in female football an this is built on a sound foundation developed in our all girl junior football program. All our teams train with an accredited coach that is asked to develop players, not just to win matches. Players entering our junior girls teams will be placed on our pathway in hope of one day representing the club in our Womens Premier League side.

Our U8 team play in the internal U7 competition. We have found through experience this is a good footing for the players before moving into the Football Brisbane All Girls U9 competition the next year.

We run two teams in each of the U9, U10 & U11 age categories. One team is designated as an Academy team (for experienced players) and one as a beginners team (for players new to the sport or not wanting the commitment of the Academy teams).

Our beginner teams play in the local Football Brisbane all girls competition which includes home and away games. The Academy teams may play in the same competition, a year category up or in the appropriate level boys competition. This is judged by the Head of Female Football before the season starts. For more information on Academy teams please click the Academy drop down.

All teams are overseen by Head of Female Football Anthony Costa throughout the season. He also works along side the designated team coaches on field as well as providing support and coach development off field.

Games for all teams are played on Saturdays. Home games are generally played in the morning, however away games can be played at anytime during the day depending on the host clubs field numbers and availability. A full list of the seasons fixtures is made available to parents 1 week before the start of the season. The U9-U11 fixtures are created by Football Brisbane.
