Capital 2 Mens

2017 Squad Announcement

The 2017 season is upon us, so here is your Capital 2 Reds squad for the year. Overall the squad oozes talent, with everyone capable of fighting for top team spots come the weekend. It is also quite a young squad, with an average age of 26 and 17 players under the age of 23.
Firstly, welcome back to the following coaches and players from our victorious 2016 squad. Of course this list includes Head Coach Richard Hudson, who as results show, had a tremendous impact on the squad, and further developing the culture at the club into a winning one.
We've also retained last year's Capital 3 Player of the Year, and Golden Boot, Michael Geddes, in addition to 2016's captain Steve Kehoe and Player's Player Jordan Pitt. Both will be looking to have big impacts on a successful season in Capital 2.

Your impact on the club as members of the 2016 Club Champions can never be lost, and we thank you all for your fantastic efforts.
Of particular note is the departure of club stalwart Nathan Sirl. Nathan has accumulated over 200 games for the Reds, and was the last remaining member of the first reformed men's side at the club, from back in 2008.
